Definition

Turning radius is common shorthand for the clear space that lets a wheelchair turn. ADA guidance commonly uses a 60-inch-diameter circle, not a 5-foot radius, or an allowed T-shaped turning space. ADA portable restrooms are built larger for this, but the accessible site path matters too.
