Festival restrooms are logistics, not an afterthought. Peak gate times, alcohol, heat, and overnight camping all change how many units you need and how often they must be serviced.
Pad design basics
- Cluster units into visible pads near food, beer, and major stages
- Leave truck lanes for overnight pump-outs
- Mix standard, ADA, and hand-wash stations in each major pad
- Light paths and keep queues out of emergency lanes
Service for multi-day shows
Overnight cleaning is non-negotiable for multi-day festivals. Plan staffing and access credentials for service trucks before doors open. Mid-day spot cleans at the busiest pads prevent the worst lines from forming after lunch and last call.
